Well what to write here under services, I can say I have skills and tools to do the job and while that’s important and vital to woodworking it also is expected and goes with out saying that this is all in place and yes, it is all in place. These skills and tools are important, but they don’t do anything without me. I believe the important take away is bigger than how well I can make a cabinet because that doesn’t define me. So here is what I want to say as I think this is what’s important.

     I design and create functional lasting cabinetry that will surround a family and will be there through the years. They will be there as children grow, when friends come for coffee, birthdays, all the meals of the day, when children graduate from grade 8, then High School and later university. When a new grandchild comes for their first visit to grandma and grandpa’s, when the whole family gets together for a holiday feast.

     These experiences are in my thoughts as I create a space for someone. However, I know Slurpy cups, leaky ice cream cones, Nintendo/pizza parties, young puppies and playful cats, vacuum cleaners and mops, overflowing toilets, spilled drinks and slammed drawers are standard experiences in all homes. These good times are also important when any design is made. A well-designed space will survive the human experience and a poor one will not do well at all. I design so spaces will work, last and look beautiful.

     This all describes a home life experience but what about a business environment. Before I was in the woodworking business, I spent 15 years in our family jewellery store. I know the importance of workflow, retail traffic, effective lighting, ample storage and security issues. I have lived that life and understand the challenges that come with business and design.

     Now getting to an actual renovation. This is a very exciting experience to see a transformation of your home or business. It should be a memorable positive event. Deciding on door styles and will you have walnut, cherry, oak, or have it all painted and what colour? What will you store in the cabinetry? I have guided many people through this, and it makes for a smooth process. All cabinetry is built and ready to install before a space is gutted and prepped for its big transformation, minimizing down time in your home or business.

     Now with all that being said let’s get to the title of this page “SERVICES” and make a list of services I offer.
